Can the OCR detect handwritten receipts?

Yes — our system can recognize both printed and handwritten text. Handwriting legibility affects accuracy; standard handwriting performs well. For very cursive or unusual styles, performance may be lower.

Which file formats are supported?

We support PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG. Both digital-born documents (e.g. PDFs generated by software) and scanned images are handled. High resolution and good scan quality improve results.

What languages and currencies are supported?

We currently support English, Spanish, French, and more on request. Currency formats (decimal separators, symbols, placement) are also recognized per locale. More languages can be added on request..

How is data delivered via API?

You receive structured output in JSON (or CSV/Excel) with fields such as vendor, invoice number, date, items, totals, tax. API supports batch requests and error handling. Sample code provided.

How secure is the data processing?

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We follow GDPR guidelines. Only authorized systems have access. You can define retention / deletion policies.

For printed invoices, we see accuracy of ~ 98-99%. For standard handwriting, accuracy depends on clarity — in many cases over 90%. Performance might drop for low quality scans, blurred images, or complex layouts.
